6 Bead Crafts For Kids To Try In 2025

At one point or another, almost every parent will end up buying some bead crafts for kids. After all, it’s a fun, creative activity and it can result in some really cute souvenirs. I know that when my girls were little, the beaded bracelets they made each other was one of their favorite things.

So, I combed through Amazon and found some bead craft kits for you all to check out.

1. FUNZBO – Fuse Beads Kit

First off, we have a 5,500-piece FUNZBO fuse beads kit. It includes everything your kids need to get started with this type of craft. Such as four precision scissors, nine pegboards, four pieces of ironing paper, and a book full of inspiration that includes over one-hundred different patterns.

In fact, out of the nine pegboards that are included with the set, five of them are shaped to create specific patterns from the book. Which is really helpful for beginners.

But two of the nine pegboards are actually just square. And seeing as you have thousands of beads in twenty-four different colors… You could also stray from the patterns provided and help your child come up with unique designs!

2. Dowsabel – Clay Beads Bracelet Making Kit

Next, we have this Dowsabel bracelet making kit. It includes 5,000 pieces, which are made up of an assortment of… Colorful polymer clay beads, charms, space beads, clasps, open rings, and binders, as well as letter beads for more personalization.

This kit has everything your child needs to design bracelets for themselves or others. And the brand even has instructions and videos explaining how to bead bracelets for beginners. So it would make the perfect kit to get your kids started with jewelry making.

3. Klmars – Charm Bracelet Making Kit

Alternatively, I found this klmars charm bracelet making kit that offers some different bracelet making supplies. This kit only has 79 pieces; including twenty-four glass beads, thirty dangling charms, fifteen metal beads, three bracelets, three necklaces, an instruction pamphlet, a postcard, a gift bag, and a jewelry box to hold newly created jewelry!

Obviously this kit won’t produce as many pieces as the previous one, but it does offer a different style and some adorable charms!

Plus, it stands out from many bracelet making kits due to the fact it doesn’t require any glue or tools. Instead, you simply unscrew the end cap of the bracelet or necklace, add whichever beads and charms you want, then screw the endcap back on.

4. Made By Me – Bead Pets Craft Kit

Stepping away from beaded jewelry for a moment, we have this Made By Me beaded pets craft kit. Unlike the fuse beads kit I listed above, this kit doesn’t require any ironing to bring the pieces to live. Because these designs require your child to weave the beads together with a cord.

And if that sounds difficult to you, don’t worry. The kit comes with twenty-six different project guides and instructions, as well as trays that double as storage boxes to make the weaving easier.

Additionally, since there are over 1,000 beads included within the kit, you can also get creative and craft things outside of the templates provided.

5. Just My Style – ABC Beaded Jewelry Making Kit

This ABC beaded jewelry making kit is our last jewelry-related craft for this post, and I think it’s adorable! It includes multiple types of cords (elastic, satin, and wax), about 200 alphabet beads, hundreds of round beads, a whole bag of neon beads, an assortment of charms, and obviously… illustrated instructions about how to bring it all together.

This kit is estimated to make about forty different pieces, which means hours and hours of fun for your child.

The style of the pieces created with this set are described as “Y2K”. Which sets this kit apart stylistically from the previous ones. So it’s really just a matter of choosing which kit(s) you think suit your child the best.

6. Perler – Peanuts Fuse Bead Kit

Finally, we have this Peanuts-themed fuse bead kit from Perler. I saved this for last because I absolutely adore the theme!

The kit includes enough pieces, as well as the instructions for, nine Peanuts-related designs. And more specifically, these designs are of various poses of Snoopy and Woodstock. They’re unbelievable adorable, and if your kids like the Charlie Brown universe… they’ll love this.

The same brand also makes similar kits with different themes (such as Barbie, Toy Story, and Disney Princesses) if you want to check those out as well.

Note – Beads Are A Choking Hazard

As much fun as bead-related crafts are, it’s important to remember that they can be dangerous for young kids and even pets! Since they’re small enough to be swallowed and present a serious choking hazard.

So be sure to only allow children who are old enough, and who you know aren’t at risk for swallowing the beads to enjoy these crafts. And be careful to keep the beads away from younger kids and pets. (Supervision during these types of crafts is also important!)

Final Thoughts About Bead Crafts For Kids
