My Complete COSORI Air Fryer Review – Is It Worth It?

I’m someone who doesn’t use a lot of appliances in the kitchen. This is partly because I don’t have a lot of counter space to work with, but it’s also because I have a hard time spending money on things for myself. Even if it’s something that would make my life a little easier.

So when I tell you that I love my COSORI air fryer, just know that it’s a true testament to how great of an appliance it really is. And don’t worry, we’re going to get into all the many reasons why I love this appliance in today’s COSORI air fryer review.

My COSORI Air Fryer Model

I want to start off by specifying that I have the COSORI Pro lll Dual Blaze Air Fryer currently, although I did have another version previously. And personally, I much prefer the dual blaze air fryer to the one I had before. But we’ll get into that in a second.

First, I want to talk a lot about how I ended up with this model. Because I think the story shows just how much I want everyone in my life to have one of these appliances, and how much I rely on it myself. 😂 But if you don’t want to hear it, feel free to skip further into the review.

The first air fryer I ever had was… not ideal. It had dials for the settings, not much customization, and a very small basket. And because this was my first experience with an air fryer, I wrote the whole thing off for a while. But then, my oven went out, and all I had left was the tiny air fryer.

This forced me to get used to it, and although the little device left much to be desired; I did decide that I liked the concept. So I upgraded to my first COSORI… Which I absolutely loved!!

But sadly, it ended up being involved in the COSORI air fryer recall. Since I wasn’t sure how long it would take for me to get the replacement (and I didn’t want to spend too long without my trusty air fryer), I went ahead and purchased a new one myself, thus upgrading to the dual blaze model.

Then, when the replacement arrived, I gave it to my daughter (who had just moved out on her own). She’s been just as happy with it as I was, and overall, I’m glad I made the decision to upgrade.

I was also impressed with how quickly COSORI shipped the replacement to me, and found the whole process really smooth!

My Favorite Features Of The COSORI Air Fryer

But with that little story time out of the way, let’s get into the heart of my COSORI air fryer review… My favorite features!

The Dual Blaze Element – Having a dual blaze air fryer makes things even easier than having a regular one, because you no longer have to turn your food over in order to make sure it’s done on both sides. You simply turn it on, and the appliance does the rest!

It’s Easy To Use – This model features an intuitive touch screen where you can set the timer, adjust the temperature, etc. And it even has some presets for things like chicken, frozen food, etc.… that you can use instead of always having to input the information yourself.

It Can Do More Than Just Air Fry – In addition to air frying your food, this COSORI can actually bake, broil, and roast your food due to the dual blaze feature.

It’s Easy To Clean – Despite the bulkiness of the appliance, it’s quite easy to clean because the basket detaches from the rest of it. And to make it even better, it’s dishwasher safe.

It Can Cook A Lot Of Food – One of the biggest issues I had with my old air fryer was the small basket size, since I cook for three to four people at once and sometimes had to make several batches of food. But this model’s basket can hold 6.7 quarts, so that hasn’t been a problem.

There are some other great features of this air fryer as well, but the five I listed above are my favorite! And if you’re interested in learning more about it, you can check out the listing page on Amazon for more info.

The Downsides Of This Model

Now, I don’t feel like this would be a complete COSORI air fryer review without mentioning the cons. Because then I wouldn’t be sharing all the information with y’all! So, even though it was genuinely hard for me to come up with anything I don’t like about this air fryer, I did put together a few things that you should keep in mind.

It’s Bulky – The exact measurements can be found on the listing page, but this model is about 12 inches in each direction. Which means it can take up quite a bit of counter space if you leave it out all the time. And personally, I do. Because I use it often enough that storing it away is too much of a hassle.

It’s Heavy (To Me) – I actually have a lot of back and shoulder pain, so lifting anything over ten pounds can be hard for me. And this air fryer weighs in at about 13 pounds, which makes it extra hard for me to move around. So if you’re like me and won’t have any easy time moving it, make sure you have enough counter space to leave it in one spot.

It’s Expensive – And lastly, this air fryer is fairly expensive. Which was something that gave me pause when I first started researching what model I wanted. But ultimately, I decided it was worth it to try.

Final Thoughts – Is The COSORI Air Fryer Worth Buying?

In summary, I think that the COSORI dual blaze air fryer is worth the investment. And I think it will be part of my kitchen for a long time to come. In fact, it’s almost replaced my oven at this point. 😂

But if you’re looking for some other reviews to take a peek at, I highly suggest the Empowered Cooks YouTube channel. And this was actually the channel that guided me through my own air fryer shopping journey.
