Everyone Should Know About This Massive Quaker Recall
If you’ve heard of the recent Quaker recall, and are concerned that you may have a contaminated product then this articles is for you! As I’ll be discussing everything you need to know about it. And sharing links to additional information.
On December 15, 2023, both the The Quaker Oats Company and the FDA released statements that over fifty of Quaker’s products were being recalled immediately.
More specifically these products were in the granola category, including popular cereals and granola bars that are made by the company.
The products in question were recalled due to a risk of salmonella contamination, a threat that should be taken very seriously… As it could lead to anything from a week or so of sickness, to serious illness and even death. Particularly if the affected party is young, elderly, or otherwise immune compromised.
Thankfully, as of now, there are no reports of sickness resulting from the products. And it is worth noting that not all Quaker products were affected.
